Business Profile

Paul Summers is a consultant with more than 27 years experience in the formulation and implementation of strategies. PSPS provides services in strategic planning, land use planning, corporate planning, community consultation, statistical research and analysis, mapping research and analysis and integration of data and policy. The consultancy:

·      Applies contemporary and advanced approaches to strategic thinking and planning theory.

·      Uses practicality in developing solutions to problems.

·      Produces high level digital outcomes.

·      Aims for client understanding of the outcomes and the data on which the outcomes rely.

The client focus of the consultancy is government and community organisations. The philosophical approach is based on helping organisations find their own way forward and providing assistance with developing their own solutions. Paul believes better solutions arise when those who live and work in their communities prepare and take responsibility for implementing those solutions.

It is a small consultancy designed to give high quality products, on budget and on time. Paul undertakes the majority of work, assisted by Noela Summers and from time to time other specialist consultants.

The consultancy is based in Noosa Shire, renowned for its innovative approaches to planning, design and community consultation. Paul contributed strongly to this reputation, having responsibility for the preparation and maintenance of its comprehensive planning documents during his 15-year employment with Noosa Council.

Paul is a member of the Planning Institute of Australia and the Queensland Environmental Law Association.
