Information for each of the above items has been under preparation for some time. Happily, the volume of work being undertaken by PSPS has prevented its completion, so apologies to visitors to this page who are expecting more. A short curriculum vitae and a biography are available.

Some examples of major works that have been completed by Paul Summers Planning Strategies are:

1)                                                                               2006 Maroochy LGMS for Buckley Vann and Maroochy Shire Council – GIS analysis of biophysical constraints and values across Maroochy Shire and the preparation of a single database for analysing all constraints and values.

2)                                                                               2006 Palmwoods Town Centre Design for Palmwoods community – facilitation of community design for the Town Centre of Palmwoods.

3)                                                                               2005/06 Maroochy Biodiversity Strategy (external link) for Maroochy Shire Council – a comprehensive examination of values, threats and assimilation of values and threats to produce an overall strategy based on a no nett loss of biodiversity.

4)                                                                               2005/06 South East Queensland Horse Trails for the Qld Dept of Premier & Cabinet – a GIS-based assessment of alternative horse trails arising from the change in tenure from Forest Reserve to National Park.

5)                                                                               2004/06 Noosa North Shore Eco-Tourism Portal Development Code for the Petrac Group – a comprehensive development code to control all development on a 70ha. site.

6)                                                                               2004/05 NORSROC Sub-Regional Framework for the Northern Sub-Regional Organisation of Councils – a sub-regional plan for the 7 local governments areas of Caboolture, Caloundra, Kilcoy, Maroochy, Noosa, Pine and Redcliffe.

7)                                                                               2004 Population Carrying Capacity in Noosa Shire for Noosa Council – a comprehensive census collection district assessment of population carrying capacity in Noosa Shire.

8)                                                                               2003 City Plan Review for Maleny community – a review and workshop process for Caloundra City Plan and the subsequent preparation of amendments to the plan, the majority of which were implemented by Caloundra City Council.

9)                                                                               2003 Fauna Biodiversity of Noosa Shire for Noosa Council – digital structuring and formatting, peer review, preparation of mapping and planning input into the document.

10)                                                                            2003 Vegetation of Noosa Shire for Noosa Council – digital structuring and formatting, peer review, preparation of mapping and planning input into the document.

11)                                                                            2003 Centres & Residential Development Discussion Paper for the Centres & Residential Development Working Group, SEQ2021 – a discussions paper documenting the findings of the working group and informing the South-East Queensland Regional Planning process.
