This page is intended to provide
information to the residents of Bella Creek and surrounds in regard to the
multisport park application. The page provides information on the processing
of the application and the content of that application. The page has been
prepared for and on behalf of the Bella Residents Action Group (BRAG) which
is opposed to the proposal. Documents are generally sorted by category
first, then in reverse date order. Categories are: ·

APPLICATION STATUS1. The application is now in the Decision Stage.
2. The Decision Stage is when the assessment manager (Gympie Regional Council) decides the application. Prior to its decision, the Council must receive: a. Advice from the applicant regarding the public notification process; and b. Advice from each of the referral agencies, albeit that advice must be provided within a defined, but variable timeframe (dependent on when each referral agency provides its information and subject to any extensions of time that may be given). 3. The Council received a request from the applicant to extend, by 4 months, the period for determination of the application to enable further information to be submitted. That request has been granted by the Council and it pushes the decision date out to around early June 2012. A copy of the relevant Council report may be accessed here. |
